Print and mount order issues solved

We've squashed a few bugs when ordering our print and mount products:

Previously, you could order a sub-frame for sizes below 390 x 390mm. However, the image must be at least 390 x 390mm due to the 100mm subframe - so this option has been removed for those smaller sizes.

There were some larger sizes on some substrates that could not be ordered, this has now been fixed.

We have now removed the option to order battens for prints larger than 60 x 40 inches as we recommend an aluminium sub-frame for added strength.

Here's a reminder of the mount types we offer:

  • Museum board
  • Aluminium
  • Dibond
  • Foamex
  • Block
  • Plywood

We're Now an Official Canson Certified Print Studio.

We're happy to announce that we're now an official Canson-certified print studio.

Canson experts meticulously review and certify all studios in the program. The certification process involves rigorous scrutiny of various criteria. A key criterion is the ability of the print studios to provide sound advice on Canson's digital print portfolio, including its strengths and variety. Additionally, the studios must have a comprehensive Colour Management system, including custom ICC-Profiles or Canson's ICC-Profiles. Their extensive knowledge and proficiency must ensure a consistent and professional printing experience.

We'll gladly advise if you have any questions about Canson's papers.

Point101 is now a certified Hahnemuhle print studio

We're happy to announce that we're now a gold-certified Hahnemuhle print studio.

All Certified Studios are checked, trained, and certified by Hahnemühle experts according to the strictest criteria. Among many criteria, the print studios must be able to advise on the strengths and variety of Hahnemühle’s FineArt portfolio and have implemented a complete Colour Management system either with custom ICC-Profiles or the ICC-Profiles created by Hahnemühle. Their knowledge and abilities must guarantee a professional and first-rate printing experience.

If you have any questions relating to Hahnemuhle's papers, we'll be happy to advise.

We're looking at future fail-safe options to avoid any future disruption. Apologies to all customers who have been affected.

For more information you can read Royal Mail's official announcement here.

Jan 16th

Royal Mail is experiencing severe service disruption to their international export services following a cyber incident. We are temporarily unable to despatch items to overseas destinations until further notice. Items that have already been despatched may be subject to delays.

Royal Mail is working around the clock to restore their systems. The security and safety of our customers and their data are paramount. We are unaware of any sensitive customer data being compromised at this stage and will not produce any international labels until it is safe to do so.

We will keep you updated when the service is back up and running.
